Ranchi, July 20: As many as 300 middle schools will be upgraded to high schools over the next three months to widen the reach of secondary education in the state. The proposal put forward by the state for effective implementation of the Rashtriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhiyan was approved by the department of school education and literacy, which operates under the aegis of Union ministry of human resource development, on the concluding day of a two-day meeting in the capital.
